Are you interested in public policy and keen to learn more about the important role of the U.S. Department of the Treasury? Each summer, a select number of high school students intern in a variety of different departments within Treasury. And these programs aren’t just for kids interested in economics - the roles attract students with interests ranging from social science to law to STEM. The process is selective, but earning a spot will give you an amazing window into this fascinating and varied part of the government.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE TREASURY STUDENT INTERNSHIP?

Treasury student internships are unpaid opportunities in Washington, D.C. designed to provide high school, undergraduate, and graduate students with work experience and direct exposure to federal careers.  Internships at Treasury give students a unique opportunity to:
