Do you work hard at school and find yourself frustrated that accolades are limited to grades that no one but you and your parents see? There are many academic competitions and publications that reward, acknowledge and promote the writing of high school students. And if you’ve already done the work, it’s just a matter of finding the right one to publish you.

“The Curieux Academic Journal is an academic journal written entirely by high school students. Writing or editing for Curieux is a great way to get experience in the craft of academic writing, learn from our editors, and help your ideas blossom. Our first issue will be released soon. We accept submissions on any academic subject from Semiotics to Technology to Political Science.”

Curieux is still a small publication but aspires to become a forum for students across the world to publish their work across disciplines.

What do I have to do? Submit your academic work of all kinds (essay, paper, proof) on any subject (literary theory, psychology, chemistry, philosophy, etc.) to Curieux Academic Journal. Recommended length is between 1,000 - 15,000 words. Submissions should include brief abstracts and, optimally, a short bio.

How do I expand this narrative arc? Check out some of the many other publications and competitions we have found. Some will take academic papers you have written at school.
