How do I expand this narrative arc? Looking for more ways to pursue your interest in research science? There are a number of excellent and prestigious summer programs at some of the top research institutions in the country:
Test drive “life at the bench” in the intensive four-week RIBS lab research program at U. Chicago.
Zuckerman Institute Brain Research Internship
Cancer Research Internship at Fred Hutch
Children’s Health Research Internship at Colorado Children’s Hospital
HOT TIP: Research science is a rewarding and highly fulfilling career for many, but it doesn’t suit everyone. Summer is a great time for high school students to explore different academic and professional areas. Speaking to actual scientists and seeing the inside of a research lab is one of the very best ways to test drive this type of career.
