Soles 4 Soles is an amazing charity that fundraises and collects donated shoes to be delivered to low income communities across the world where people lack access to basic needs like clothing. Most of us can’t fathom what it would be like to lack something as basic as a pair of shoes, but for millions of people around the world, that’s an everyday reality. For countless more, it’s a sudden and devastating consequence of a natural disaster.
Without shoes, people are vulnerable to scrapes, cuts, bacteria and parasites that can lead to infection and other serious illnesses.
Kids without shoes often can’t attend school and adults can’t work.
New shoes give people the feeling of joy and dignity they deserve.
How do I get started? First, click here. Set up campaign to collect 5,000 - 10,000 shoes for a cause (e.g. the Haitian people in the January 2010 earthquake, or a US city decimated by hurricane).
